AcroYoga Above & Beyond Summer Weekend part II

Come play with us in the sunshine, among the dandelions and trees

and soar into a higher state of AcroYoga!

An entire weekend filled with playfulness, loving touch and connection,

and growth in every aspect of your practice.

Apart from learning an AcroYoga flow filled to the brim with different elements 

like standing acrobatics, L-basing, pops and challenging poses,

we'll also help you to dive deeper into your practice.

With exercises and games, related to the AcroYoga themes from this course, 

you'll get the most out of your AcroYoga practice (and you'll get more out of life, too!)

Also, you will learn the best basing and flying skills, 

while communicating your needs and boundaries.

- FRIDAY EVENING - Indoors

We'll start the weekend at our cozy yoga shala in the center of Utrecht

with a group opening and a Bodywork & Dessert party.

During this evening, you'll share Thai massage, therapeutic flying

AND homemade desserts! 

Can you imagine getting massaged (by two people) and eating chocolate

banana cake in the meantime ;)?

We'll guide you through the evening step by step, 

with group exercises & mini workshops.

Start the weekend relaxed and energized

and get to know the new friends who are joining the ride.

- SATURDAY -

Today we'll head off to nature, to the magnificent forest of Amelisweerd,

where we can play underneath the trees and in the river.

We'll inspire you with a beautiful, creative AcroYoga flow.

With small steps for beginners+, and standing acrobatics,

challenging transitions & pops for intermediate AcroYogis.

After the workshop we'll have a group potluck, followed by a JAM 

in which you can really get the hang of everything you've learned. 

We'll be there to give you the coaching on exactly what you need.

- PREREQS SATURDAY - Beginners+ to Intermediate

This is your entry level:

Basing and Flying

a steady Front Bird + points of contact

a steady Throne + points of contact

a steady Folded Leaf

During this workshop day, we'll offer challenging progressions

all the way up to Intermediate+ level AcroYoga.

- SUNDAY -

Today we'll also enjoy the evergreen forest of Amelisweerd.

We'll surprise you with standing acrobatics,

L-basing & whips, all mixed up in a funky flow.

We'll provide challenging progressions for intermediate and more advanced AcroYogis.

- PREREQS SUNDAY - Intermediate+ to Advanced

This is your entry level:

Basing or Flying

Ninja Star

Front bird pops (front bird to throne and back, front bird icarians)

Free star

Free shoulderstand

Standing acrobatics: Chair and Standing on thighs

During this workshop day, we'll offer challenging progressions

all the way up to Advanced level AcroYoga.

This JAM will take place in the forest of Amelisweerd, next to the water.

Or, if the weather Gods don't allow this,

in our own beautiful yoga shala in LOU.

A super cozy yoga shala with a tiny rainforest of plants

and lots of windows that allow sunlight.
